Internal Medicine Board-Style Questions & Answers – Volume 3 and Volume 4 (Software Format)
Coming in March 2009: Internal Medicine Board-Style Questions & Answers-Volume 2, 2nd Edition will be available in book and software formats.
The unique benefits of the Q&A software format are that it enables you to sort questions by specialty/subspecialty, bookmark selected questions you choose, search the content by keyword, separately review incorrectly answered questions, and more. In addition, the program automatically tracks your performance and compiles a report card with results broken down by specialty/subspecialty.
There are two ways by which you can receive the MedStudy Q&A software program:
- On a CD-ROM shipped to you
- Via direct download to your computer
CME: MedStudy designates Volume 4 for a maximum of 50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity (one hour = one credit). Although the Q&As in Volume 3 are still effective in preparing for the ABIM exam, CME credits for this volume have expired.

CD-ROM Option.
With this option you receive a physical CD-ROM that you can use on any IBM compatible PC (NOT MAC OS). The CD-ROM disc is required to be in the CD drive on your computer at all times when you are using the Q&A program. You can use the program on more than one computer, provided you have the original disc in the CD drive on whatever computer you are using at any given time. When you place your order, depending on the shipping method you select, it will take 2-4 business days for the shipment to arrive (within the contiguous United States).
You can select the CD-ROM option to receive Q&A nbsp;Volume 3 (555 questions) and/or Volume 4 (533 questions). These volumes are separate products with no duplication of questions.
System Requirements:
PC with Pentium compatible processor (166MHz or higher); compatible CD-ROM drive (4x minimum, 8x or higher recommended); Microsoft Windows 2000/XP; 32MB RAM (128MB or more recommended); minimum 800x600 screen display resolution; high-color (16 bit) monitor recommended.
MAC OS, Virtual PC on MAC, and versions of Microsoft Windows prior to 2000/XP (Windows 95, 98, ME, etc.) are not supported!

Download Option. Available Now!
This is a convenient way to receive the Medstudy Board-Style Q&A software program without having to wait for a CD-ROM to be shipped to you. You can be using the Q&A program just minutes after you place your order! All you need is an Internet connection and basic computer usage experience. You can place your order online, and you will receive an e-mail within minutes with the link and instructions on how to download the program. The e-mail will also contain a Serial Number to activate the program. You will be able to use your Q&A program the same day!
The download option allows you to install and activate the Q&A program on two computers concurrently. If you need to use the program on a THIRD computer, you can do so by transferring the license to that third computer from one of the two computers you have activated the program on. This license transfer is very simple. All you need is an Internet connection on the PCs you are transferring the license to and from. This process is similar to checking out a book from a library. You check-in your license to a MedStudy server from one computer and then check-out the license from the server to the next computer where you’ll be using the program. The process can be reversed if and when you need to transfer the license back.
