Pediatrics Residency Program Director

Among the many responsibilities you have as a Pediatrics program director is determining if each of your residents has met the standards of being a competent pediatrician—something the ABP requires for a resident to be eligible to sit for the Boards. When you make these assessments, just as when you see Board exam results for your program, are you consistently satisfied with what you find? Is the training in your residency meeting its expectations? Do you ever ask yourself how you might make improvements?
